Jonas Langeby is the kind of artist that can successfully play in any pianobar - ranging from more intimate pianobars where people can talk and relax, to modern pianobars where the pianist works more like a live disc jockey. Consequently, he has a vast repertoire with emphasis on new international popular music. Because of such qualities Jonas Langeby plays in some of the most prestigious pianobars in Norway, such as Sir Winston in Oslo and the Scotsman in Bergen on a regular basis.

Jonas Langeby holds a lecturer's degree in musical pedagogy. In addition to entertaining and teaching, Jonas produces music in collaboration with his colleague Vess Ray. This duo is called RayLan and in 2010 they released a Christmas song called "Longing for Christmas", which was subsequently played on several Norwegian radio stations. In 2011 "Longing for Christmas" and other pop music from RayLan will be released on Wimp, Spotify and iTunes.
